1986 cabinet doors

About half of the cabinet doors of my 86 exella realy need new paint half of the remaing could use a new paint and the rest is OK
I have sanded one and put a new clear coat high gloss on it .
its a lot lighter in color that the other doors.
Can I sand the panels that are in the doors.
I don't want to try and find out that it is just a print and waste a door.
so are these panels real wood?
It will be a lot of work to sand all the doors and drawers but light oak looks nice and make the inside a bit brighter.

I'm unfamiliar with the doors in your trailer, are they a kitchen cabinet type raised or flat recessed panel door?
As a professional cabinetmaker, I am though very familiar with woodwork and finishing.
More often than not, I'll opt to replace doors instead of sanding and refinishing.
There are literally hundreds of cabinet door suppliers out there, and you will be amazed at how economical the replacement option is. Especially if you factor in the cost of your time.
E-mail me and I can help you further.
