Replacing WFCO 9855 Converter on 2018 Classic30
We just picked up a pair of Battle Born 100ah LiFePO4 batteries at the Quartzsite RV show to replace the failing factory-installed Interstate SRM27 batteries. Next is replacing the WFCO 9855 converter with a unit suitable for fully charging lithium batteries. Our converter appears to be located on top of the wheel well under the closet floor with no easy access. It seems that the only way to access the converter is by removing the stove/oven since the closet floor does not seem to be removeable. Has anyone done this? If so, what converter did you use? WFCO advises that the 9855 profile is not suitable to fully charge Li batteries, and we should use their WF9850L2 as a more suitable upgrade. I would appreciate advice on accessing the converter and on best choice for replacement. thanks
