1980 24ft Caravelle
Been busy since getting this trailer home. A lot of working on what you will not see and a what you will see.
Lots of cleaning.
Dropped belly pan what a mess with the pink stuff luckily frame was in good shape. POR 15 everything and reinsulate.
New axles.
Resealed windows, vents ,rub rail, belt line, bumper, door, antenna.
New window gaskets
Replaced AC the old one hardly worked hooked up to drain line no more water running down outside of trailer.
Replaced toilet and water heater.
New PEX lines except for the lines going to the shower. Anyone know how to replace them without removing the shower?
New refrigerator dometic 2510.
Rebuilt water pump and installed accumulator.
Installed second pump switch in bathroom.
New power converter and fuse panel with sub panel in the pantry.
New battery box.
Installed radio found the speaker wires in the walls for them and installed speakers.
Ran new coaxial cable to the still working antenna for TV and radio.TV sound will also go through the stereo.
Out with the front gaucho in with a dinette.
New cushion's for rear gaucho and dinette.
Pulled up all the old floor tile. Sealed floor with a 50/50 mix of poly and paint thinner. A good way to get reid of all my partial cans of poly and it soaks into the wood better and dries faster.
Took out the heater was disconnected by the PO and full of dirt dobber and wasp nest. Will do space heaters for awhile.
Put in blinds curtains will come later.
Sure I have missed something.

I am going to put in an engineered wood floor. 3'' oak with a gunstock stain. We have the same floor in our house in a 5'' and really like it.

Had time to install the back splash today. Ceiling tiles from Lowes work pretty nice.

kitchen upper cabinet
Finally got a chance to do some more work. Takes longer to do when you are camping and redoing at the same time. Have to make sure nothing is taken apart when DW wants to go camping.
Tackled the upper kitchen cabinet over the stove and sink. Out with the walnut laminate and vinyl covered plywood. In with sold walnut and oak panels and LED lights that work off of magnetic switches come on when cabinet is opened.

Time for new window screens the original ones where still all in fairly good shape not bad for 35 years old. Just did not care for the color like the charcoal color better.
