Caravanners have been brought up
just recently. I love all the windows on these models!

The 'O' certainly stands for Jackson Center,
Ohio. I stand in awe of Kevin Allen -- the history he has with Airstreams, his contributions in posting to these Forums, and involvement with WBCCI and the VAC. His preceding post led me in the following direction on this matter.
R.J. Dial's Vintage Airstream.com archives for the following years say:
1958 - VINs use serial production numbers of O-9300 to 9399 (upper left of page)
1957 - VINs use serial production numbers of O-9XXX (bottom -- yes, incomplete...)
1956 - VINs use serial production numbers of O-9000-9099 (top center)
So do we say that delilahblue has the very last production
1956 model Caravanner? Kevin, thank you. And delilahblue -- congratulations. Members? Would we guess the production date to be approximately June
1956??
