Yep, thanks. I found out today when I pulled off the old one I would need to unscrew the brackets that the lifters insert into.
They seem to press in and that's all. Not sure why one popped out, but it got loose and that brought me back to this project. Started thinking about it two years ago. Other stuff got in the way.
Guess I will hit up Inland rv and order the smoky grey one.

Oddly (to me) Andy badgered me about getting the translucent version.

I have never regretted my purchase.

maybe I will get a discount on the grey- free shipping would be nice

The old dome lasted almost 50 years. IT finally cracked when a limb fell on it. My temporary repair last 2 years. But it was only a short term fix, I knew that going in.
We sat through hurricane like winds and rain in Florida for a day plus recently, and the messed up dome did not leak. Water did come in a one point through my refrigerator vent as the wind came from that the side of the trailer and pushed water over the vent and in. It was quite a mess as it rolled out from under the fridge.

Just ordered the IRV dome. Can't believe they get $55 to ship it.
I shipped an electric guitar for less that that!

Scalped!

Sorry to hear of the shipping charges. I ordered one from IRV years ago and it didn't fit. I sent it back. Ordered one from Colin Hyde and it fit perfectly plus I liked the product so much better. Good luck with your solardome.

it has been 3 weeks since my order went in and still not received. I emailed and got no reply. I guess I made a mistake ordering from Inland RV..
Be forewarned.

Have you tried calling? In my experience, they answer the phone at Inland.

Yes I called today and they were helpful. UPS reported that the box WAS delivered and I asked for it to be held for pickup. NO way! I am retired and here most all the time, they never came. I have had other things delivered in the mean time. My apologies to Inland RV. I and they are contacting UPS to see what the heck is up.

I often deal with UPS selling and buying stuff and never had an issue, until now.

Andy- if you are seeing this. I appreciate the follow up.

Happy to report my Solardome will be delivered tommorow if UPS doesn't screw this one up.
Cant get it on before the big Motorama show this week but no one will be climbing up to see my roof anyway.
Also have to refresh/rebuild the lifters one does not work right now.
