I have a '67 overlander i am restoring. I need help getting a title. I bought it on a bill of sale. In Kansas you can get a title on a car or truck with a bill of sale but not a Camper. I hear some states its easy.

It does vary between states. Idaho would make you place a bond. You will just need to call the DMV and see what they need.

PS -- In addition to checking with your local DMV, as just suggested, if the prior owner was in a different state, you might have to get some of the paperwork from that state. Is the prior owner still alive, and able to complete any necessary paperwork for you? There are folks here with way more insight into these issues, so hopefully the will comment soon.
