1967 26 Foot Overlander

I'm looking for the floorplan for a 1967 28 Foot Overlander. I have looked at the archives around and I have the history of the Airstream book. I see the floorplans for the 1963 Overlander and I'm assuming that they are pretty much the same.

Thanks,
Dan

There were two floor plans in 1967: Two double beds, or one double, two twins. My '67 Overlander is the two double bed model. At present, it has been gutted for a bathroom floor replacement, and new floor covering. I was thinking about changing it to two twin beds, but the bathroom door is offset too much to accomodate both beds AND getting to the bathroom without crawling over someone.

I think my owner's manual has the floor plan. If not, I can easily draw you one since my carpet still has all the depressions where the cabinets sat. Let me know how I can help.

I know this is an old posting, but for those that do not know: 1963 was the last year of the larger size bathroom. Starting in 1964 the baths went to the modular fiberglass units which also shrank the total bath size.
The overlanders through 1968 were classed as 26', the Ambassadors were classed as 28'.

Like Tom said, there is a difference in the floor plans between the single double and the twins. In the twin model the closets extend the bedroom area, pushing the kitchen further into the front room.
In the single double the bedroom is shorter, allowing the kitchen to be placed further back, and having more floor space in the front room.

I have both of the 1966 and 1967 "booklets" that were used as sales brochures and they have all of the floor plans that were available.

Let me know if you want me to fax a copy to you.
