Sink size; CCD owners please help
The sink in the 25' CCD looks like about 18" outside rim; 16" inside, maybe
8" deep from photos on the Airstream site.
Can anyone confirm the actual measurement for me?
Thanks.
Sergei

18 1/4" outside rim diameter (maybe 18" 3/8ths)
16" inside rim
8" at center at the drain - 7" 1/2 at curve up on sides
I need a cutting board cut so this had me do the measurements.

Thank you Michael and Tina. Is the manufacturer BLANCO?

I cannot be sure. I wanted to order a cutting board for mine that fit inside the rim like on the newer models but have not been able to get the brand from Airstream. They sell the board but at a premium as you can imagine. I have a local shop that will make one for just a few bucks from Corian countertop material.
I guess in short - I could not find a lable or mark on the one I have.

Sergei,
Post #10 of this thread has a picture of the sinks (boxes) from the factory.

Mike, Dennis:
Thanks for the help. I found that ELKAY, US made in Chicago, has a model that EXACTLY meets the specs of the Kindred used by Airstream.
I bought one at Home Depot yesterday for my Argosy renewal.

Hi Smokeless,
I realize that I'm chasing this information a year and a half after the fact, but I've been looking for a solution for a cutting board/or cover for our sink in our 28 CCD. Saw your post and went looking on line at Elkay and visited my Home Depot with no luck. At this late date, can you provide me with a Elekay or Home Depot item number so that I can renew my search? Thanks. Jack

Get the inside diameter measurement and the rim size to a countertop maker and ask him to cut you one from a scrap piece of Corian. They cut out larger pieces from home countertop sinks all the time ad that piece can go to waste or be used for structural support - more waste. Just cut the outside diameter and then have it router cut a rim and drill a fingerhole in the center.
