New to the airstream community

Hello all,
After several years of being wishy-washy I bit the bullet and bought a 2009 International CCD 27. Over the past 3 years I've looked at literally 100's of RVs at numerous shows going back and forth between TTs, 5ths and A's. Regardless of what I looked at they all appeared to be generic and w/o personality compared to Airstreams. In retrospect the Airstream seed was planted back in the 60's when our neighbor bought an Airstream dealership in Sterling-Rock Falls, Illinois and always had a model in their backyard which was commandered with regularity for sleep-overs during the long Summer months. My unit will be towed with a 2010 F-250, V-10, which will certainly do it's part in maintaining the petroleum industry's profitabiltiy.
As soon as possible pics will be posted. I beg your indulgence as I am honor-bound, from time to time, to ask really, really dumb questions.
Thanks, MikeG.

Welcome aboard! Those of us already stricken with "aluminitis" understand your happiness. A beautiful Airstream and a capable tow vehicle. Enjoy!

Welcome and congrats on your Airstream! The 27' has a lot of room and the CCD is my favorite! Have fun and post some pictures of your new baby.

I'm fairly new myself, have asked a lot of questions and the members of this Forum have always responded with good information, enthusiam and I have always felt welcome. I have never been ridiculed or made to feel embarrassed by my lack of knowledge. This community is truly awesome.I am also having the time of my life and so far we have only camped mostly in the rain. You're gonna love it.
