CCD Signature

Was nosing around on Chris Deam's site, and came across pictures of a CCD Signature interior...

http://www.cdeam.com/cdeam.htm

I clicked on "Show Menu", then on the little CCD Signature square.

I think I'm in heaven.......

I don't know how to grab flash images off the internet, but check it out... it's very sweet...

Cheers!
Michelle

Wow, very nice. I like the wood tones and the retro patterns. The one thing I don't like, and it goes for all CCDs, is the opaque upper cupboard doors. I think it looks really busy to see the cupboards lit up, and see the shadows of the stuff in them. My upper cabinets are not so artistically filled In practice I think that design takes away from the rest of it. But I love everything below that!

Adobe products are A-OK in my humble opinion. They allow you to view various file formats, such as pdf, or flash (though I'm accustomed to macromedia for flash but that's another story).

There doesn't seem to be a non-flash view available for Chris Deam's website - so if you want to view his images you've got to download the flash player.

I think I'll download an add-on so I can grab flash animation from my cache, but again that's another story.

Cheers!
Michelle

Last year Adobe aquired (bought) Micromedia for around $3.4 billion.

Thanks for sharing Michelle, Gorgeous CCD! As to the plexiglass, I always thought one could add a sheet of that bathroom contact on the inside of the sliders to obscure windows to get whatever level of hiding desired and still get the cool lighting, either that or put all in nice containers. Some of my overheads have containers in them anyway.

If you select Bambi Prototype you will see a sixteen foot CCD Bambi. I believe this is the one that was stolen from Chris a few years ago. As far as I know, it has never been seen again.

Great design

Does anyone know anything about this model? Is it a custom design or will it be produced? Thanks.

Bill

We have an 07 CCD International (25 foot) and love the funky interior. The things stored inside the cabinets are well hidden. It is very cool!

I admit, it does look much better than the base line CCD, but that's just IMHO.

I am sure there is a significant price tag for this retro looking unit, but frankly, with some of the issues folks are having with their new and not so old Airstreams, it's hard for me to justify getting another one. Check out the Model Year Quality threads if you want to see what I'm talking about.....

As for Adobe being a-ok, they use to be until the Macromedia merge. Nothing but problems so far with Adobe stuff.

Now if only the production models had that quality in the materials that would be great!
That sure looks more 'posh' than the CCD's I have seen in the showrooms.

Hello,
Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning up the white glue that is all over the dark colored trim in my 07 25FB? I was thinking of painting it dark brown but thought that I should consult the list first.

Thanks

Boatboy,

Is the glue something that came from the factory, or something you got on the trim yourself?

If it came from the factory, take it to a local service center and have them take care of it. Your unit should still be under warranty.

If it is some accident you had, try a Mr Clean eraser sponge. Get it wet and rub very lightly in an inconspicuous spot first.

Good luck.
