Thanks. We love our fc 30, and we're plenty happy to keep it. Plus... there's room for more solar on the 30 footer.

The result: More appreciation, no depreciation, so no price drop. It's docked here at the house for a few more days. Full hookups, Directv, wing stop, so fly on down, and spend a nite in it. And do plan to make another one of your professional grade videos! Cheerio. George.

Following.

It seems as though those who have a 25SS don't part with them too easily. That's what I've noticed over the years. (Airstream, are you listening?)

I don't think they sold very many. Apparently it wasn't a very popular floorplan.

25ss technical questions and differences between years

25SS floor plan rocks I hear there might be one featured on the back cover of airstream life magazine this month...

It's true that the rear corner bed isn't for everyone... but if you can hack it the floor plan affords for a lot of lounge, entertainment and sleeping space.... it feels very open and spacious for a 25-footer...

Or, it could be that dealers didn't order them in, thereby dictating to people what they should buy. It's always a better deal getting what's on the floor than ordering in.

We have a dealership in our city, and they never brought one in. They flooded the sales floor with the 25FB model back in 2008, when we were looking. I think that they sold many to people sight unseen -- in the diagrams the 25FB looks like it has a walk-around bed. However, it is still a "crawl over or crawl out the foot" bed.

Sigh!

I see a new registry for slide out Airstreams.
If the 25ss is rare, maybe we should have a registry too! (But I doubt it's as rare as a slider)

The sealers I've talked to (including Patrick at colonial) said they ordered a bunch but they just didn't sell. I'm sure there are a lot of different reasons. I'll bet the 35 fb was pretty hot when it was introduced.

Airstream bringing back the 25SS floor plan in 2018?

Found this link on another thread... Link is to the Christopher C Dream site...

http://www.cdeam.com/project/interna...gnature-series

check it out - updates to the international signature.. and the photos are of a 25SS floor plan...

Maybe they are bringing it back with a refresh??

THat'd be really cool. I think this is the 2004-2005 CCD though. Notice how the front upper cabinets don't go all the way to the corners. In 2006 all the cabinets went to the corners.

Dangit. That's saying something though, if it still looks like it could be a brand new model.
