Run the wire through a window and close it.
I wouldn't drill my roof...

Interesting idea. Attach a little angle bracket to the top of the vent and put the receiver on that? It will not stick to the roof. Those new trailers hide all the mechanicals pretty good. Call the factory, I'm sure they can help. Or have the dealer do it.

XM makes a marine antenna that can mount on the side.

That was the best way I could think of. I was thinking about the window but I don’t want wires hanging out all over. But if I run through an already existing opening like you said mount a little metal plate you have a clean install ion without making any hole in the skin of the trailer. I called a stream and the were no help at all. So I guess I will have to open it up and take a look.

Have you considered going down through the floor and along the frame and back up through the vent for the fridge?

That won’t get me there the fridge vents out the side of the trailer. The only openings in the roof are the Vent for the bathroom, Vent Stack, Roof vents, A/C, FM antenna and TV antennas. I have considered removing the FM antenna but I lose local programming.

Come out from under, fashion a bracket on the tongue for it. I've done quite a few XM/Sirius installs and they don't have to be on the roof.... especially if you're not moving (you don't ride in your trailer do you? ) You can trial it just running it out the front window first.

XM Antenna
Here's a link to a thread I started about a similar issue.
XM Antenna
I ran the antenna thru a small hole in our old Fantastic Fan. Worked great under the plastic dome even when closed.

I like that idea even better! On my wife's former Beretta I put the antenna on the metal defrost vent on the dash (looking up through the windshield)

I run ours down the wall from behind the front overhead cabinet/AV bay out the front window and up to the roof where I have it velcroed to the top. Works great with no drilling. I did have to unscrew the screen window to get the antenna connector through.

This is what I was wanting to do in the first place but I did know if there was enough gap to run a fish tape in there. Thanks this was what I was hoping to find out.
