Winterizing

I live in South Carolina and although we get some freezing temps in Jan-Feb, it doesn't stay freezing for prolonged periods. Since I plan on using my AS through the winter months is it necessary to put anti-freeze in the system as long as I drain out all the water?

No, but I would probably put some in the traps and toilet to be on the safe side.

Many answers and it depends how cold, for how long, and what kind of chances you're willing to take. Plumbing damage from freezing can be expensive and time consuming to fix. I had to replace a toilet once even though I had blown out everything with air.

If I were in your situation I would consider keeping the trailer warm enough with some supplemental heat to reduce the chances of damage. That will also keep the humidity down and help keep everything fresh. If you keep the interior at 45 degrees you should be good down to 20 degrees outside temps as long as the trailer is out of the wind. No guarantees, but that's what I would do
