I think I've got bad breakers. If I push on them, they'll cut out.

I pulled them out and they're General Electrics. Is there anything special about "trailer breakers" or can I get them at Lowes?

I have a 30amp main, a 15amp GFCI, and a pair of 20amps. Are these the right ones?

All of my Airstreams have had generic circuit breakers that can be bought at any HD or Lowe's. Take one with you to make sure you are getting the right thing.

John's advice is good. There are several different types of breakers, they all look the same, but they usually won't interchange. IIRC, GE breakers are the most expen$ive ones, but they are not special to Airstream.

I got them at this hardware store I go to that has everything imaginable.

I'm replacing three of the four. The main breaker was hot in temperature when I pulled it out of the bus bars (I unplugged the trailer first). It was breaking down I'm pretty sure. I got all new GE breakers, just like were in it. I didn't replace the GFCI. At least not yet. that one was $50, the other three totalled $14. I'll change the GFCI if I need to, but figured I'd try the other three first. The main 30amp breaker was the only one that felt hot to the touch, but what the hay, for $5 or so each, I swapped the other ones. I"ll hook 'em up tonight and see if that solves things.

Hello,
when the main breaker is powered up they get warm. Check all the wires on the breakers for tightness.they do get lose from time usually 1/8 turn is all that it takes. it has happened on my moho. hope this helps..

i believe they are square D from the factory.

try to replace with same if possible vs. an import brand.

Hey guys,

I swapped them out last night and everything seems to work fine now.

The wires were all tight on the old ones.

I guess a PO must have changed them out sometime in the past. They were all General Electrics that I took out, so that's what I put back in.

I may have changed a breaker that didn't really need it by changing three of them. But for $14, what the hay. They're in there and everything works now. Makes me happy

Off the topic that I started but...are a ferret and a weasle the same animal? They do look a lot alike.

My daughter is into Winnie the Pooh, so I know all about hefalumps and woozles (elephants and weasles).

Had a room mate in college that had a ferret. Wasn't sure if it was a domesticated weasle or not...

it was a joke i started with some neighbors, i raise chickens in my backyard as a hobby.

when the neighbors moved in the said they had ferrets, and said they get out on occasion.

i said well, i have chickens. and i call them weasels! please keep them indoors or i will be inviting you over for a very unpleasant leftover chicken dinner!
