What type battery for clock in 1976 27'?

To look at the back of the clock in the front headliner of our 27' International, I had to stick my head into the adjacent storage bin. It fit, but barely, and I couldn't see the back of the clock, except peripherally.

It looks to be a battery driven clock.

Anyone know what kind of battery goes in there?

You can take a small mechanics examination mirror and look into the area a bit more easily.

Ours was DOA when we bought it. Its 12v power, should have wires coming out of the back of it .If Airstream used the same clock in 76 as in 77. There was a thread here somewhere about redoing the board and power supply for your clock. Use the search feature to retrieve that thread.
I have not tackled mine yet.

I decided to use the technology at my hands, and used my cell phone camera, and an LED flashlight for illumination.

While I can't get the pictures off my camera, I did discover:

- There's no 12 V lead coming off the clock. The only wire coming off the clock/barometric pressure cluster is a braided wire from the barometer going through a tube to the outside world, measuring temperature, pressure, etc.
- There is a battery compartment. It looks like it will take a C battery.
