What is this?

I apologize for the picture quality in advance but does anyone know what the 110v wire above the service hatch door is for? It runs horizontally above the hatch and then disappears into end cap of our 67 Sovereign. It was there when we took the bathroom out, cut off with the aluminum wiring inside exposed and it doesn't seem to be connected to anything. Everything in the trailer runs when we are hooked to shore power so I just can't figure out what it might be for.

Thanks,
