What cables, adapters, etc when switching to 6v lifelines

Hello,

I'm going to be ordering a pair of 6v Lifelines to replace my factory batteries. What else do I need to order to make the switch? Im thinking terminal ends and jumper wires, but any other info is helpful!

Thanks!

Hello,
Generally speaking, you will need #4 or #2 welding cable, depending on the length of the run, Crimp lugs with 5/16" stud hole and a crimp tool for those lugs. Alternatively to making them your self you can estimate you length and have the cable made up if that works better for you.
If the battery location is the same location as your current battery, the existing cable connectors may reach your new battery terminals. If they are not long enough, you will have to get more creative and add a couple of insulated battery battery posts to connect to.
The wife and I booney camp most of the time. We have 4, Lifeline GLP-4CT batteries. Absolutely love them.

Thanks Dennis! Our batteries were bad right off, to the point they would become more than 50% discharged overnight. I'm hoping we can get 3 nights with the lifelines. That's our typical log weekend.
Looking at my current setup, I'm hoping to reuse all the cables, but may need to get a couple lugs to replace the ends that are made for an auto style top post. I will check around for the lugs/crimped tool. Thanks again!

Yes, I should have mentioned that I installed a WFCO WF-8955 on Vinnie's recommendation. Really easy swap out.
