Victron 702 Placement
Got a victron 702 battery monitor and was going to install it this weekend.
I'm also installing two 6 volt lifelines under my bed in my 2011 25 FB flying cloud.
Anyone have any ideas on battery monitor placement?

I have ordered a 702 and I have a 25 FB. I am going to drill a 2 inch hole in the front face of the bedroom hanging locker towards the center of the trailer, inside left front of the hanging locker. That way, I will have easy access for the wiring to the area under the bed.

I have not done it yet, but it looks simple to run wires to the back of the locker then inside it, then along the floor/wall of the locker.

Pull out the plywood base of the bed. It will make your life much easier. Just a few screws.

We too are getting ready for the 702 install. Any issues using a standard hole saw for the hole ... as in splintering of the laminate surface or ?

Always tape the back surface of the board and you should avoid splintering. Have used regular hole saws in wood and fiberglass with no problems.

Location
I am now thinking more of installing mine as did the other poster, in the face of the locker underneath the bed as I am facing forward, 25FB. While it is low to the ground, so is the breaker panel. I do not expect to have to push buttons on it very often.
