If the trailer is 50Amp 220 Volt, who delivered the 30Amp 120 Volt cable with the trailer. Unless I am mistaken most of the 50A adaptors only pass 120 volt. Wouldn't want you to fry stuff in your new trailer.

There are no 220 volt trailers or motorhomes on North America.... The only exceptions are food trailers.
50 amp service is just twin 120 legs with a common/ bonded neutral.

The barely over 6 lb 30amp cord would sit in the same box and be much easier deal with when setting my and taking down the campsite.
Meaning no offense, but if you had said it that way from the beginning there might have been a bit less confusion. Certainly I would have been less confused!

I think you are asking if you can attach a 50amp end on a 30amp cordset?

If this correct you'll need a jumper between l1 and l2 so everything "can" work.

My trailers are wired for 50 amp service but I have the ability to use a 30 amp cord without an adapter.

Chart

There are charts that show the configurations. It looks like usually the 220 configuration won't fit into a 110. Unless no habla has taken the pliers and bent it so it will, and kazapppp goes all your construction light bulbs...saw that one, and they did it again the next week.

What you can do is put a short piece of #10 stranded wire between the black and red terminals inside the 50a connection. There is room to do this. The terminals on the 50a end are sized to take #6 wire, so it's possible to put two #10 wires on one terminal (black) and run it to the other (red).
Of course you need to make sure you don't have any 240v appliances. But if you have any (like an English Teapot that you love) you would know this.
Shown below, the jumper is the red wire.

So this would be what you need.

No, the generator connection is not the same as 30A RV hookup.

Our Honda 2000 watt companion has a 30 amp twist lock female receptacle. We have a Furrion "extension" cord with male 30 amp twist lock on one end and female 30 amp twist lock on the other. This allows a direct connection to the generator or serve as an extension cord for the normal 30 amp power cord with 30 amp female twist lock and 30 amp RV three pin male plug for a power pedestal.

Here is a link to the Furrion power cables and pigtails for nearly any situation...

Note there has been no sales tax or shipping charges when ordering direct from Furrion.
