I changed my mind on selling the unit. It's a great piece, and I am going to donate it to my parents Cutter which I am making an outdoor movie viewing area for.I am installing speakers, and either a flip down tv monitor or just run the wires to hang an lcd tv inside the compartment behind the door. This will give them an area for a group of people at a rally a miniature theater to watch a movie. We are still trying to figure out exactly what to do, but they currently have a sony tape deck in the MH.

Here's a review of the Eclipse 55090 unit in case you still wanted to know about it. Just click on the picture of the unit to access the link.

Oh yeah... there are a number of iPod/MP3 adapters out there for Ford F250 factory radios that have CD changer capability. Google for 'em.
Thanks Maurice.
That looks like it will be a cleaner solution.

Well, I have a few udates. I did not find out what service the real time updates are on through Alpine, but i am guessing XM's traffic service since that's what it's designed for.
We had been talking about the AVIC-N1 unit, and i just noticed there is a new unit- the AVIC-N2 which among other things has the real time traffic updates as well.
Some bad news... The real time update service is only available in 20 major cities in the US, which while it's nice to have- i'm not sure it's worth while unless you plan to do a lot of city driving with the vehicles you install it in.
Another update is that I have left my job to pursue my company full-time. For those of you who tried to log onto my site when I first posted the link,(there was an error message) The site is actually up now. It is Basic, and un-finished and changes little by little every day, but it's there for anyone to see.

Just for info to potential customers reading- I am located out of Worcester, Massachusetts and would be happy to start planning installs or chat about products with anyone interested in the area. My phone number is on the site, but here it is anyway: 774.696.3150 Thank You, Chad Bleakney
