Trimetric 2020

There have been a few threads regarding Bogart Engineering's Trimetric 2020. A friend called me today and said that he ran across a site Infinigi - Infinite Energy Solutions that had the Trimetric on sale for $155.72. They also had some 12 v. LED floodlamps housing 18, 45 and 99 LED's.

We've had it at $139 for about a year now. You must have a shunt to make the Trimetric work so that adds about $30.

Hi Randy,
I noticed the Trimetric on your website shortly after my post. Glad to see that you carry it. One question, when my purchase of the SunRunner 100/22B system with one 100 watt or two 100 watt solar panels and HPV-22B boost regulator occurs in April, will the Trimetric 2020 give me any more additional information on my system?

Hi Craig,
I suppose that depends on how you look at it. The Trimetric will not display anything unique about your solar input per se other than the total amount of amps, cumulative amp hours, voltage, etc that it already displays. As long as the solar charge line is connected to the shunt, it will read it but will not indicate; this came from solar and that came from you charger, if that makes sense. You can isolate one or the other if you wanted to measure which source was providing the charge, that would not be hard.
