Thermostat Wire

We have a 2005 25 ft International. I want to put in a wall thermostat to control the AC, heat strip and furnace. I found the perfect thermostat made by Dometic and purchased it. To use it I have to run a thermostat wire from my Dometic Duotherm AC to the wall where the existing furnace T'stat is. Does anyone know if these are prewired for a thermostat or if there is a conduit or channel for that purpose?

Finished

I finished my thermostat project. I was able to run a concealed wire from the AC into the storage cabinet above the dinette and from there behind the refrigerator to the existing furnace only t'stat. Now from the same thermostat I can control the furnace, AC and electric strip heat all with a digital read. And its black to match the black(ish) melamine of our 2005 International.

I am happy with the result but can't say it was worth the effort or the cost. It took about a day and half and about $250. I had to buy the Dometic single zone thermostat and a new inside AC cover (without knobs). The new inside cover has way more plastic than my original did. In fact Dometic says it can't be used with the electric heat strip as it may melt. So I had to modify it with some insulation and sheet metal. I think it will be ok now.

I will take some pictures this weekend of my finished work.

I never did take any photos. But would be glad to do that and to discuss the project by phone with you. PM me if you want my number.
