Solar installer recommendations

We are taking delivery of our new 26U tomorrow in Florida. We were gonna have the dealer install 160w of solar, but they called as we were in Mississippi (we live in Albuquerque) to say they were back ordered. They were lobbying hard for us to come back in a month but I told them no in somewhat polite terms.

Anyhow, does anyone know of a reputable solar installer around Albuquerque? I'd include the Denver area, and even Phoenix in the mix. We just want it done right the first time. Our old 'factory installed' solar on our 25FB was hit and miss.

Thanks!

Earlier this year I had Marv Brawn with Precision RV (http://precisionrv.com) install 600w of solar panels with 400AH of lithium batteries and a Magnum Hybrid inverter. He did a great job and is based in AZ during winter months. He came to my home in CO last spring to do my install. Below are some of my photos. He labeled each wire and devise so if we ever need to diagnosis a problem we can do it over the phone.

Best decision I've made on adding this upgrade to my 2015 25' Serenity. We've gone off grid without having to add gen power or shore power.

Be well, fish on!

Wow, Alan! That's a legit set up. Our old system was 2x40W with a 600w single stage crap inverter. Of course, that was 2010 technology. I'll probably give him a holler. Casa Grande is an easy road trip from ABQ.

A more important question- when we gonna meet up and chase trout?

If you are not in a big hurry to get the solar installed you might want to contact lewster at http://mastertechenergy.com/. He installs very good solar systems from AM Solar. He travels thru the Albuquerque area twice a year as he moves from his summer work site in Hood River Oregon to his winter work area at Marco Island Florida. He installed two GS 100 Solar panels on my 20 foot Airstream and a Blue Sky Solar Boost system with all of the accessories. To make room for the front panel he had to remove the unused TV antenna and repair the roof. The back panel installation required removing the high profile sewer vent and installing a lower vent so he could mount the panel over the vent and combiner box. He worked very fast and efficiently and ended up shaving six and a half hours off his estimated time to install the solar system reducing my cost by $812.50.

Marv is now down in Arizona so not that far from you. As mentioned by Allan and others, including myself, the work is excellent. Good write up on his website and also over at Paul and Nina from wheelingit.us.
