Solar generator package

My 2 8D (255ah) in my Skydeck are dead. Now I am trying to decide with what do I replace same?
Run across this product with
http://www.humless.com/wp-content/up...heet_FINAL.pdf
Wonder if anybody run across this or may used it to replace the batteries and the charger/inverter.
Looks interesting but not being a electrician i am not sure if this could work.

It's a nice concept but it doesn't look very practical for your use. The Humless system is designed around a 30 AH, 48 V Lithium battery pack. So the system provides 1.5 kWh of energy to be used for AC (120 V, 60 Hz) loads. However, you will not be able to provide a 12 V source for the other systems in your trailer.

If your batteries are dead, I would replace them and take a good look at the converter that you currently are using. If your converter only includes a simple one-stage battery charger then a modern three-stage battery charger will perhaps extend the battery life. Upgrading your converter is not too difficult and there are many folks that can help you with the process if you choose to DIY.

Thanks for your response and I value your input.
It has a 12V 20amp output also and I was not planing on running the air condition just replacing the batteries and getting the latest battery technology.
It is a nice package and can be used with or without RV also accept input from 120V/12V and solar/wind.
I am worry about how long I could use the battery 2 x 8D are 2 x 255ah total of 510ah.

Yes, I see that I missed the 12 V output. It's pretty pricey too, I think about $2,000 for a 1.5 kWH system. For a tad bit more you could consider a lithium battery install and probably get more useful energy. For example, your 8D batteries might give you 512 Ah, but then again folks suggest only depleting these cells 50%, so your usable energy is 256 Ah. If you went for a 400 Ah lithium installation, you could reliably deplete these cells to 80%, so your usable energy is 400 * 0.8 = 320 Ah. Another advantage of lithium batteries would be they could recharge faster than flooded or AGM cells.
