I have a couple of questions for the wiring schematic gurus...
Before I build a new fridge compartment base that goes over the multitude of wires and plumbing, I need to know what these wires are.
1. There is a pink and white wire, not hooked up to anything. What was the option for this hook up?
2. There are two sets of wires that indicate, black, grey and fresh, these are a telephone type of wire hook up. I am guessing these are the sensors hooked up to the command display?
3. The second set, are 12-14? gage wire black and red, the tape says grey heater, black heater and water heater. The set for the black heater is not hooked up. I thought it had just pulled out of the yellow connectors but the one end is actually tapped at the ends. Am I right these are to the switches. The water heater switch, does work, comes on red and once heater fires goes off. (However wish it was the other way round, so I know it is on. Always forgetting to turn it off)
The micro pulse system works partially. Reads the grey and black, although the black is never right. The light by the fresh tank comes on when cycling but does not light for status, so never know where I’m at with my fresh water.
The tank heater switches. Fresh comes on, but the grey/black does not.
And lastly, over by the wheel well on curb side where all the wires come in to the paralex unit, there is a white wire, clean cut hooked up to nothing. I assume that this is the other side of the white wire paired with the mystery pink and white ones under the fridge, street side.
I’m going to make the fridge subfloor so that it can open in the middle so I can access wires without having to take the whole sub floor out. Hoping fridge will be back soon.
In the interim I wanted to know how or what is involved in getting the heaters and sensors all working.
I’m going to run the white and pink into the closet for future access. My best guess is pre-wired for solar? Back in 04/05 ????
Any insight would be most welcome.
