SeeLevel II Battery Monitor

Trading in my 2013 FC 20' and picking up a 2017 FC 23 FB. I noticed AS has switched the monitoring system. Is the SeeLevel II battery monitor any better than the MicroPulse System. I put a Trimetric on the 2013 because the MicroPulse battery monitor was so bad.

SeeLevel actually works (if installed properly ) and mine has been flawless.

It is night and day better. You will love the SeeLevel but it but it doesn't totalize your amp hours like the Trimetric or have the other features.

Not only that, but with the SeeLevel monitor being on a long run from the batteries, it reads lower than actual battery voltage. .1 volt in my case.

Voltage error

The voltage reading should not read an error from the length of wires. The volt meter is a high impedance device so minimal current is drawn. Therfore undetectable voltage drop. Meter probably has a slight error

The length of wire does introduce resistance, as well as there may be 1 or more connections between the positive buss and the wall above the counter, some 15 feet away. It is not a dedicated circuit, but I don't recall what else is on that run.
