Round outside electrical cover

Please forgive me if this question has been asked and answered. I learn so much using the search button here, but can not find this one.

My globetrotter has a missing cap for the outdoor electric outlet and we can not find a replacement. I have also tried looking at plumbing fixtures with no success. Will I need to replace the whole outlet, or is there a workable replacement? Were these types of outlets pretty standard at the time?

Great photo. I think the only giveaway that it's a newer picture may be that nylon rainbow windsock. I don't remember seeing those 'til the 90's.

I suspect that your coach may have been equipped with an optional accessorie porch light that fit into the round outlet in your photo. The attached photos are of the accessory porch light on my '64 Overlander International Land Yacht.

Good luck with your coach!

Wow! I love the placement, I bet you are right. Now I have another thing to look for. I ordered the cover today. Thanks!

There is a thread on here where another member made a close match from available parts of one of those lights. Maybe a MOD can find it and post the link. It looked close to the original and was made from fixtures and parts found at Home Depot or someother supply store. I think at one time VTS was going to make a duplicate but I have yet to see it on their site.
