Removed control panel and lost all power?

Hi. new here. I have a 1968 30'sovereign I have used for several years as a deer camp and only used 120v power, there is no battery in it, but does have a converter that hums. I am redoing some of the inside so we can use it for summer lake camping as well as deer camp. I have no need for the 12v power. During remodel I removed the big control panel that has all the systems checks on it and disconnected all the wires, thinking it was only used for the 12v side of things and I would not be reusing that. Well now I have no power to anything and the converter sounds like it is still working. Can anyone tell me if that control panel has to be connected or what might be wrong? All outlets were working fine before I removed it and now nothing.

well....hmmm. If you have the owners manual it would show a diagram of how all the wiring runs through the whole house. For example, we had to replace a simple plug over one of the beds...and as it was going bad- it seemed to be knocking out alot of the power throughout until we made the new fix. Good luck figuring this out and maybe Andy R. will chime in and tell you what happened.
All we ever did to this Airstream was remove the eight track player down below the control panel. Hey your not that far from where we are huh?
