Regulating voltage on charging circuit from alternator

I have lithium batteries from a chevy volt that are limited to 12.2 volts max. Is someone aware of a way to regulate the circuit coming from my pickup going to the house batteries so that they are not overcharged?

Your BMS should control that, there is a setting in the BMS program that sets the maximum charged voltage.

That is the way I do it. The setting I use is 12.5 VDC. Which I believe is the correct maximum voltage for a 3S battery.

I order the BMS from the Electric Car Parts company. Tell them your battery chemistry: NMC-LMO (nickel-manganese-cobalt).
