Refrigerator and Outlet doesn't work

Hi- I have a 6ft Sport airstream. The refrigerator and one of the outlets suddenly doesn't work. I have looked the the panel with breakers and they all look ok. Other outlets work and I have read the manual and can't figure it out. Has anyone else had this problem? Kate :-)

Don't just look at the breakers. Cycle each one off and then on, and re-test. Sometimes a breaker won't "look" like it's tripped.

I believe the fridge outlet is direct wired. It is not fused.

An unprotected electrical circuit is bad juju.

Refrigerator and Outlet doesn't work

The fridges are propane or 110 volts in a 2010 sport

OP could look in the owners manual for a wiring schematic.

While the dead outlet points to a shore power issue you can see above that according to the manual the fridge requires 12v to operate on propane and 110v. Check the 12v circuits.

From the 2010 manual

Cheers

The fridge requires 12V power for its control board, but a 12V failure or control board failure wouldn't result in any 120V outlets being dead.

Now, if the battery's dead or disconnected, a problem with the 120V side that included the converter's circuit would result in no 12V for the fridge...

Refrig circuit is on a ground fault circuit. Either a circuit in beaker box or resettable outlet

I, too, bet your GFCI is tripped. When ours gets tripped (19' Bambi) the frig switches from 120 to propane, as they are on the same GF circuit. I can hear the click-click-click of the 12v electric ignition... To reset the GCI you need to go to the fuse box and flip the GFCI breaker off wait a couple of seconds and flip it back on...that should reset it. Test the outlet that wasn't working before. Good luck!

Answer to Refrigerator doesn't work

And the answer was the GFI switch thingy! I had a repair man come out and he showed me where it was....it seemed to be hidden but now that I know exactly where it's at....I will be able to fix myself. Thanks everyone for all the information and replies!!! I really appreciate it. I am not mechanical so any help is appreciated!!
