Power watchdog surge protector with bluetooth

Has anybody used this produict? https://hughesautoformers.com/product/pwd50-epo/

It appears to perform as the Progressive Industries EMS-PT50X but without the bluetooth notification. Looks interesting but only one year warranty. I contacted Progressive and they don't have that feature. It would be great to get a text or email if there is a problem with the shore power.

Nice, but do they sell a hard-wired 30 amp version??

I looked at this fairly closely when trying to sort out what I was going to buy, but the bluetooth feature is limited to you being close to the trailer. No emails or other indication of a problem if you aren't close to the trailer. Also the unit has a 2 year warranty from what I read. That in itself is dismal compared to the Progressive warranty. I did like the fact that it had a $30 self repair surge module for the 30 amp product. I went with the Progressive EMS PT30X.

I research here and Lewster the commercial member recommended two brands, Progressive and Southwire. They are essentially the same and both good products with "lifetime warranties. What made the difference for me was Southwire has a wireless remote monitor that can be monitored inside the trailer. I didn't like having to go out to check the EMS at night, bright sunlight (hard to read), or bad weather.

The monitor is 3" x 4" with a decent sized screen and mounting bracket. I just got and haven't had a chance to try it yet. In my conversation with Progressive, they didn't have a remote monitor with the portal unit. Click image for larger version
