Power jack issues

Does anyone know if there's a fuse for the power jack? I can't seem to get power to it, but I know it works. Wondering if there's a blown fuse somehow. Thanks! I have a '92 Excella.

When mine acts up, it's almost always a grounding issue. Try loosening and then tightening the three bolts that hold the jack to the a frame. Make sure to support the trailer tounge before loosening the boltsThe jack only receives ground from the trailer frame. In a pinch I have used the ground from a battery box connected to one of the 3 above mentioned bolt heads.

I think there's an inline fuse between the jack and the battery? Anyone?

On my '15 the fuse is inline wired to one of the positive battery terminals, right down where the jack is bolted onto the tongue.

Thanks for the suggestions! It's been a busy couple of days but I'm going to try these solutions later today.

I did find where the wire was pretty severely cramped (and showing through/rusted) where it goes under the propane tank cover.I cut out the bad section and spliced the wire back but that didn't fix it. I'll look at the grounding issue and let you know. Thanks again!

If you had a bare wire, there is a good chance the inline fuse is blown.
