Is there anywhere I can get some OEM electrical parts? I have a 1978 31' Sovereign that I would like to replace the DC fuse block located above the Univolt. This block is the one that has the 12v bus bar running along the bottom and the 50amp fuse on the far right side. My clips (that hold the glass fuses in place) are showing some corrosion and I would like to replace the entire fuse block if possible. I am not interested in upgrading to a new type of fuse panel at this time. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
You won't find a new one of those.
This might get you close fending on fit. It's dhort one fuse though. http://odmrv.com/catalog/index.php?m...roducts_id=649
You might find one that someone removed that you could get but I don't think you want that. You want a nice new one.
Hit the fuse holders with some emery cloth and noalox or dielectric grease and it'll be like new.
Many people replace the thing all together. Or don't sweat it.
My trailer originally had the same fuse panel as you. A PO replaced it with 12v resetting circuit breakers and did it in a way that it was a disaster. I replaced it with a blue sea systems fuse panel 5026. And a separate blue sea 5035 for the tow circuits on the left.
