No shore power, feed has been chopped

Helooo airforums! First post for me on here.

Just picked up a 1975 sovereign (center bath). Went to plug the trailer into shore power however all outlets, univolt etc were dead.

plugged the univolt directly into an extension cord from the garage an behold the 12v system came alive!

I noticed in the front right corner of the airstream is a surface mounted electrical junction box near the floor. Very heavy gauge wire marked 600V is going into the box presumably from the exterior shore power connection. Someone snipped the wire coming out of the other end of the box.

I cant figure out how this junction box formerly fed the main circuit breaker box. The feed wire at the panel box is coming out of the wall so this wire must go back into the wall? That being said I don't see another grommet where the wire formerly went back in. Im clearly missing something here! There's also an exterior access panel on this wall but not sure what its supposed to be giving access to

Any insight is much appreciated!
