Mystery toggle switch

I just bought my first Airstream - 1992 34' Limited. In the center of the bedroom ceiling there is a toggle switch, appears to be factory. I have reviewed wiring diagrams and can't figure out what it does. Can someone please tell me what the switch is for.

One other question, in the bathroom there is a water pump switch. Does this pump pressure up the entire water system (shower, kitchen sink, toilet) when not hooked to city water?

Thanks
Tim Watts

Don't know about your switch in the ceiling...

But there are usually two 'water pump' switches in AS's - one near the galley sink, and one in the bathroom...either one will turn the pump on/off...

These switches activate the 'water pump' circuit to pressurize the trailer's water system, cold & hot - the pump will run until the pump's pressure switch senses the working pressure, and turn the pump off...

The water system will cycle on/off as you use any of the faucets, as long as either 'water pump' switch is ON (& water in the fresh water tank, of course)....

In ours it turns on the light over the bed. Of course that switch has to be on, too.

These are the photos from Craigslist. I'm a Tundra owner also, I just hate that Toyota doesn't make a 3/4 ton diesel.

Super nice. Looks like you have an extra window on the street side, 2nd one back. Love to have that one, we have a cabinet inside at that location.

That idea was in the works till the bad economy of 2008. I was originally looking to buy a 1988 34' Excella 1000. I was planning to pull it with my Tundra. The owner pulled it with a Lincoln Navigator. I think your Tundra will do fine.

Our 2012 is adequate but I wouldn't say "overkill".

When you grab a handful of this rig it gets your attention.

So, buy the 1988 then hitch up. Go carefully.
