Light and Unknown wires

There are two wires coming out of a wire channel above the door. The step light became unplugged and I see no way to plug it back in. Now the low voltage indicator panel does not work and I see no place that these two wires plug into. Id like to figure out a way to get these things connected again without ripping out the entire wall. Any suggestions?

I cannot make a logical connection between the first four sentences.

You must be referring to the patio light above the door? I'm not aware of any kind of conector.

if the disconnected wire shorted to the skin you could have blown a fuse.

Thanks for the responses. As it turns out the wire did short to the skin. Once I tracked that down and isolated it, the light and all associated electrical appears to be functional.

Daniel B; Yeah. I didn't explain myself well. New at this airstream jargon. And i wanted to blow it up by the time I posted the question...
