Land Yacht battery control center

2005 gas Land Yacht, a clicking sound in the battery control center under the circuit board. On-Off, On-Off continuously 5-7 second intervals. This happens when off shore power and batteries are turned Off.
I checked all connections etc then decided to check battery connections and condition of the chassis battery. They had a little corrosion so I cleaned them, had the battery load tested (OK) and reconnected.
The problem has gone away. (for now) Can anyone tell me why and if this was actually the problem, or are my electrical gremlins waiting for an inopportune time to return?

Have you got a solar panel and did this happen during daylight?

If I accidentally shut off the battery switch on the Clipper, and there is less than full daylight, I will get intermittent power. (ie: radio comes on and off, fridge circuit board will chatter on and off.) Unless your solar is wired direct to the battery, and not to the fuse panel, as on most OEM units, you may get intermittent power?
Something to think about.

I was getting clicking door locks in my ford ranger truck for a week, then I had battery failure, I would guess if your cleaning is getting a better connection you might of had a selenoid not setting due to low voltage.
