Thank you everybody for your comments. That was very helpful. My concerns are eliminated. I am glad to hear that wiring is fine, and I am more than happy to make the suggested updates.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it....
If it's fixed, don't break it...
Use electrical devices commensurate with the coach breakers.
Relax and enjoy your Airstream.
If you are loosing sleep over it, you can have an electrician thermally image the wiring under load. That is the only way to be 100% sure.

If you are concerned about the AC wiring, there is a test that an electrician with the proper equipment can perform-I think it is called a hypot test.
i had it done on my '75 AS as part of a complete inspection this year. I think it involves sending a high voltage,low amperage sharge thru the circuits. If there is any weak or compromised ac wiring this test should show it. Jackson Center service center could give you more info.
