Lightbulb Is 110 electrical somewhere to tap into?

Does anyone know if 110 AC electrical current wiring is anywhere under the kitchen sink (Galley) of a 1973 Safari Land Yacht 23'?

Not sur what your galley layout is, but if your refrigerator is on that side you'll have an 110V appliance circuit behind it.
If you have a manual you can check the electrical schematic - but I assume you wouldn'y be asking if you did!

For some reason our '66 TW has 110 under the sink. It doesn't appear a PO added it. Our refer is on the opposite wall. Wherever you may have 110 outlets on walls that will give you a starting point to locating it. If your breaker box is located as such to run another wire along a wall under cabinets you could do that.

My 1964 Overlander has a 110V cable coming out of the wall under the sink too. There's also a 110V outlet over the kitchen worktop that could be tapped.

Jean235,
Maybe...I have attached a wiring diagram from my 1976 manual. Hopefully it will give you an idea. There is a plug in the under sink are on my 75 and 80 Sovereigns (31').

I don't have a manual and there is a 110V outlet to the right of the kitchen worktop but I do not know how to tap it other than run an extension cord but I was trying to avoid that ugly looking dilemma. I have a rear bath and my breaker box is located there in the bath closet so that rules it out. I have tambour roll top doors and about half of them have seen better days so I am going to replace all in the kitchen area and have a carpenter come in and build pine doors for the kitchen area. As he is doing the kitchen sink, I was thinking about having him build a shelf to accommodate a microwave below and where the Kitchen Aid stove oven once was. I'm replacing that entire dinosaur unit with just a 2 burner gas drop-in unit. Going to try and get the interior this winter and then tackle the exterior project this spring.

An electrician should have no problem putting in an outlet under the cabinets if there is another one close. They can run the wire through conduit on the surface, or if there are no horizontal ribs between the outlet and the worksurface they can run it between the skins out of sight.

It's a very straightforward task - $10-20 in materials and maybe an hour or two's work. No tools more complicated than a drill & screwdriver, Any basic wiring book or one of numerous online guides can tell you how and help with the safety requirements (luckily with a trailer, as long as there's no inverter or generator, unplugging it protects you from 110V shocks). But no need to take it on unless you're happy doing it - easy to find someone to do it.

I ran extra wiring behind the bottom cabinets from a junction box I added into the stock 110 volt wiring for extra 110 volt outlets.
I also ran wiring through the top cabinets (to hide the wiring) to 110V lights mounted under the top cabinets. The lights I bought had a on/off pull chain built into them and were $9.95 each at Lowes. By adding lights with built in pull chain you don't have to worry about light switches, and it gives you regular 110v lighting in the trailer.
