interior lights

So after many attempts I finally give up and post this question to the group. How do you remove the covers to replace bulbs in an 81 excella mh? Im referring to the rectangular fixtures. You cant get in through the back as the tambour is in the way. I have tried gently sqeezing the plastic cover gently still no luck. Please help.
TIA

Leave the lights on awhile to heat up the lens then you can squeeze and gently pry them out. i took all mine out at the same time, washed them in the sink, and put them back in. Once you get one its a breeze.
