Intellipower 4045 wiring questions

I have searched and read what I can but didn't find answers. The directions or lack there of with this unit just complicates things for a person like me that has limited electrical experience. There are two wire larger gauge wires black and white coming out the back of the 4045, at the top of the unit in the first pic of the rear. Are they Battery charge cables? White to negative post, black to positive?

There is a black 12 or 14 AWG wire on the inside of the unit seen in this photo with the white and green wires (which are pre connected to ground bars) that is not connected. Does it go to a breaker if so what amperage?

I rewired my entire trailer and have a ground running to the frame that I used for the umbilical (trailers lights and brakes) hookup. Can I ground the battery to the same one? I have a 30 amp breaker that I'm assuming is for the power coming in from the shore power plug in. Black wire to the breaker, white to the ground bar that white wire is pre connected and green to ground bar that green wire is pre connected. I have a 20 amp breaker that I'm guessing is for the Air Conditioning circuit and will be wired same as 30 amp. Then I have three 15 amp breakers, one circuit for each side of the trailers AC receptacles to be wired same as 30 and 20amp breakers. Water heater and fridge on one of these circuits. So I'm guessing that the other 15amp breaker is for the converter the spare black wire that I asked about earlier and will be wired as all the other breakers?

Oh, and I do not have a battery yet can I use this unit without a battery?

I borrowed the fine pics from TGtwinkie.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks Melody Ranch, I still need some more clarification I can't follow your pics and diagram real well., which is more me than you, I'm sure. Probably clear as a bell to some! Have sent pretty much the same pics and questions to Randy. Hopefully he gets back to me. Are my questions clear?
