Question How to convert 220 AC/50hz to 120 AC /60hz

hi there;
i want to plug my A/S in European campgroungs without changing equipments inside who run with 120v / 60 hz. the problem is that we can only plug on 220v / 50hz....
is someone gotten the solution to use genuine A/S equipments ( refrigerator, air cond, converter 120 / 12 v) in europe; Does it exist a special converter 220/50 in 120/60 ?
Or is my international equiped for that , and i don't know ?
if not, why international name compared to the continetal A/S ?
May be European owners can give me the way the do ;

thank you by advance,

Bruno;

Hi Bruno,
i have bought a 1979 Safari from a german dealer in Duisburg, who imported the trailer I wanted from the USA and changed axles, brakes, hitch, and inserted a transformator, which transforms the 220 V to 110 V (for the lights, refrigerator and air condition), and it works fine. Additionally I also can use 220V for whatever I plan.
Cheers, Hans

I lived if Germany for three years from 94 to 97 and had to use transformers to convert everything we owned in our home. Transformer converts 220 to 110/120 but the hertz rate was still 50 instead of 60. The problem is that the 50 herts caused clocks to run slow and our appliances seemed to fail sooner than normal. Try to find a transformer that converts volts AND hertz.

thank you , as usual, you're great !

thank you to reply so quickly;
I've sent emails in each site .
Do you have kept your original equipment from US, or you have remove and buy european ones ?
I want to keep the genuine Dometic fridge and AC so, if Idon't arrive to get a frequency converter, I'll try to use them with 50 hz.
The transformer 220v in 120 v is not a problem to find; In France, we used this voltage in the past, up to 1960 I think.

Always a great pleasure to find solutions in this forum.
