Hood/hood lights and water heater stopped working!!!

So we woke up this morning and I flipped the gas switch for the hot water heater on and heard it light right up. I then went to the stove as turned in the fan and hood light. All turned on fine. I then went outside to grab something and heard the exhaust fan for the hood close. I went inside and the hood fan and light were off. I then found that the hot water heater wouldn't work either. Neither the gas or electric work for the hot water heater work. Fuses all look fine and also the breakers are good as well. I made an appt with dealer but I was wondering if anyone here had any thoughts as to what may have gone wrong or something I could try to fix this myself. Also, are these two related at all?!

Thanks!!!

So hot water heater seems to work fine now. Not sure what was going on there. Replaced fuse for hood but still nothing. Heading to dealer later this week. Strange.
