Help! Trying to track down a short.

We have a short in the trailer wiring that connects to the 12v line to the umbilical. Arrived home from our last trip with the trailer battery dead and the fuse for the umbilical 12v circuit in the truck blown (20 amp fuse).

A meter traces the problem to one of these blue wires at the 12v fuse and distribution panel at the back of the trailer. One of them appears to go the umbilical (and I think that one's OK). The other goes into the back wall of the trailer inside the curbside rear corner. That is the wire with the problem.

Does anyone know what circuits this blue wire feeds? Connection to the fuse panel is where I'm holding my pencil point in the photo.

Trailer is a 1966 model 22" Safari.

Wire identified, problem is in the power converter

Well, I had more time to troubleshoot the Airstream this afternoon, and the blue wire in question connects to the positive terminal of the power converter. When disconnected, the wire shows an open circuit to ground, so the wire itself is OK.

The fault is in the converter, which is only a couple of years old. Research into warranty is the next step.
