Ground Bar

I'm installing a new converter/charger in my 2011 25fb. I'm supposed to put the green wire in the ground bar. Did I do it right?

Yes. Green is Neutral (ground)

You did it right. But Green is "ground" not neutral. The buss bar above and to the right is the neutral buss. You have the label "ground bar" next to the neutral buss bar. The bottom bar with all of the bare wires is the ground bar, so if the green wire you show is from the converter you have it right.

IMHO, a More accurate term for the green wire is the British term: "safety earth"

Think of it as the safety ground that's there to protect you from miswiring.

It is NOT the same as the "neutral" wire. That is the "return" for the hot wire, and in an Airstream kept separate from "neutral". It gets tied together at the pedestal or outlet you plug into.

If that green wire is the one you installed, you did connect it to ground.

The difference between those two bars is the way they are connected to the breaker box and their function.

If you look at the ground bar (the one with all of the bare copper wires) it is connected directly to the out going ground wires, the breaker box, and the incoming ground wire so that everything is grounded. This bar does not normally carry current, but offers a path for electricity to earth ground, when on shore power, in case there is an accidental short circuit. Earth ground is an electrode (copper rod) driven into the earth and connected to the shore power breaker box where neutral and ground are connected together.

If you look at the neutral bar (the one with all of the white wires) it is connected to a piece of plastic so that is isolated from ground. This bar normally carries current.
