GFI Question

Buying electrical outlets and have a question about whether to go with GFI outlets in bath and kitchen or GFI breakers. Maybe GFI all outlets via breakers?

If your wiring system in the trailer has a ground wire on Every receptacle back to the panel and you want GFI protection I would go with the breaker. Less money.

Lost of the early trailers only had 2 wire receptacles and if they had a ground connection it was to the trailer body. Not a reliable system when considering GFI

Thanks Howie. Yes, mine will have ground from every receptacle back to the panel.

My only concern with the breaker is nuisance tripping (which you can have equally with the outlet). I'd not want my A/C or refrigerator on a GFCI - breaker or outlet.

Secondarily - just cause I hate crawling in a hole to get to the breaker box - resetting the outlet is a lot more convenient than a breaker.
