GFI circuit malfunction

Hey y'all, I've searched for answers but no luck. I have a 2004 22' International CCD, and all of my GFI receptacles have gone dead. The GFI breaker was tripped and wouldn't reset. The new one does not trip, but there is still no electricity at any of the protected receptacles. Next I connected the wires to an adjacent regular breaker to see if maybe the new GFI breaker was defective...still nothing at the receptacles. My plug in receptacle checker shows no indication of anything good or bad, all outlets on the circuit, inside and out are dead.

The outlets are typically “daisy-chained” i.e. the wire from the breaker goes to the closest outlet, then to the next, etc. Turn the breaker off and pull the closest outlet. Inspect it for loose wires. If that one is OK, check the rest.

Hi

One really odd issue: You can get the wire into a breaker into the wrong part of the unit. The screw tightens down just fine. The wire isn't connected to anything at all. With power off, give it a good pull to see if this is the case ......

Second possibility: some of these breakers only reset properly if there is power applied. With power on, cycle the breaker (on - off - on ) and then recheck your outlets.
