I've got 3 dead outlets in my 08 safari, all say gfi protected? all fuses good, where is the gfi???

The GFI should be built into one of the breakers in your main A/C panel (where the A/C breakers are located and probably the DC fuses also).

There is probably a small white button on the breaker that will need reset. You should try to determine the cause of the fault prior to resetting. If it will not stay set your have a ground fault somewhere on one of the connected circuits - obviously....

Actually most RV gfci outlets I have seen have their set/reset button in the outlet(s) themselves, and are served with a standard breaker feed.

You will also most likely find one "control" gfci outlet in the bath or kitchen, with others "daisy-chained" downline controlled by the "master". Look for the one with the reset button, and if it won't reset, replace it.

Gfci outlets usually fail once the control circuit does it job enough times, or just from dampness and age...... Turn off all power and replace the gfci control outlet exactly as it is wired now (important), or even better, have a licensed electrician do it.

I am having the same problem with my 2008 22 Sport. The manual says that there are 4 type 2 thermal breakers located under the front bead. Are these just switches or do they have brass buss bars that look like big fuses?

My 2006 Safari uses a central GFI in the main panel. The wall sockets are not individually protected and have no separate test button.

In our home's master bath there are 2 plugs, one on each side of the vanity. One day they both stopped working. Checked all the breakers, then went out and got one of those signal generator tools to trace the wiring. Up the wall, across the ceiling, up in the attic I went across the house and down a wall. Came out of the attic and into the upstairs bathroom where there was a tripped GFI. That was 12 years ago. I just checked with the wife, she remembers where they go too .

I'd check the outlets and the master breaker box.

The 2008 22 Safari only has one gfi breaker, it's on the main 7300 panel. I replaced it ($44) and problem solved. Thanks again.
