I have the Honda 2000 inverter model, and one is plenty for everything except the A/C, and it's not too loud. I added the parallel kit with the 30A outlet, but there's a newer model with the 30A built-in, which is what I'd do now.

This should be straightforward. Your generator is a Honda eu2000i? It will have two standard 110 v plugs and perhaps a 12 v battery charging plug. To get a 30A plug and 26 amps of power, you also need Honda eu2000i companion. It has the 30A plug. The parallel cable is double ended and consists of a ground and two other conductors. They also sell an adapter plug with it to convert the screw secured 30A plug to the standard three prong 30A. (it sounds like you have this.) When you need 26A for the AC, you run both generators. The $50 parallel kit works only if you have a companion model of the eu2000i. They are about $100 more than the non-companion.
