The plug on the end of the shore power cord for an Airstream varies.
How many blades are on the plug at the end of the cord that does NOT plug into the trailer??
If it is ONLY three (including a round grounding pin) it should be a 110 volt 30 amp connector. It requires an 30 amp to 20 amp adapter to plug it into the 110 volt outlet on the generator. This is a TT-30 plug, if I remember right...and it is NOT like a stove connector. 220 volts will kill this trailer electrical system.
If the plug has 4 blades, its for 220 volt (dual 110 volt leads with a neutral). That can be adapted to 110 volts as well, but it is a bit harder...takes a very different adapter.
If you are NOT trying to run the air conditioner, you can test the lights and battery charging circuit with an adapter--don't try to run air conditioning!!!
